Neurodiversity for People Professionals

A half-day session for HR, People, L&D and OD professionals who want to better support neurodivergent (ND) employees.

When you start thinking about a “neuroinclusion strategy”, it can feel totally overwhelming – like there are so many things to consider 🙈

This training is designed to take the fear out of it. It’s not a big scary beast, it is just a series of small, human, practical shifts that make a real difference.

This isn't just another tick-box training. This is about actually understanding people – so you can confidently support ND employees and reduce the emotional load on managers.

Why this training?

Neurodivergent employees aren’t “difficult to manage”.

But if you don’t understand how different brains experience the workplace, even the most well-meaning support can completely miss the mark.

People teams are often left to:

  • Interpret behaviour and advise managers

  • Support employees through challenges and misunderstandings

  • Navigate tricky convos around adjustments, performance and feedback

  • Carry the emotional weight beneath policies

Without a shared understanding of neurodiversity, this stuff gets reactive, emotionally charged and time-consuming. For everyone.

This workshop gives you the insight, language and confidence to approach these situations with clarity and compassion,  not panic.

What we will cover

What neurodiversity is

Common ND conditions and how they show up at work

Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria and how it messes with feedback

How different brains process, communicate and perform

Sensory differences and workplace impact

The power of language in shaping outcomes

Clean feedback: a framework for clarity without triggering

Access to Work – what it is and how to support employees

Q&A and applied discussion throughout

You’ll leave with a stronger understanding, practical tools, and way more confidence.

Effective support starts with understanding the person, not trying to manage the condition.

“Becca has been a fantastic influence on our strategy to providing the right levels of support to our neurodivergent colleagues at Opencast.

I've attended several of Becca’s workshops and have come away learning something new every single time, with my mind more open than ever before. Becca ran a workshop for my team of People Experience Partners, giving us specialist advice on how to support neurodivergent employees. A particular stand out takeaway was how to provide feedback using a clear model. The team have found the training immeasurably useful.

Thank you Becca for all the support you have given us, I couldn’t recommend you highly enough!”
